A Heerenvener (64) and a Leeuwarder (23) have been sentenced by the court to community service and prison respectively for dumping drug residue in De Blesse.

According to the court, both men are responsible for dumping more than forty drums, containing 1,300 liters of synthetic drug waste, on June 10, 2020 in a forest area in It Fryske Gea, near De Blesse.
