The suspects are two men aged 32 and 23. According to the public prosecutor’s office, the men prevented two PowNed employees and their driver from reporting on the Sunneklaas celebration. Both suspects are also accused of open violence against the three men and threatening them. According to the public prosecutor’s office, the suspects were also involved in a dangerous chase.
Several people had also filed a complaint against the driver of the film crew’s vehicle. The Public Prosecutor’s Office considers that there is not enough legal and convincing evidence to prosecute the driver for a criminal offence.
It is not yet known when the Leeuwarden court will hear the substance of the case.
