Musk has wanted to leave Delaware since the court declared the record bounty invalid in January. If Tesla moves to Texas, it will be more difficult for the CEO to be accused of negligence. Texas is establishing a new legal system that will provide more relief to top corporate executives. In the new lawsuits, Musk is accused of, among other things, pressuring shareholders with threats and using Tesla money for the acquisition of Twitter in 2022.
