Another massive Israeli demonstration against Netanyahu

Organizers said it was the largest demonstration against government policies since the Hamas attack on Israeli territory on October 7. There were reportedly 150,000 protesters in Tel Aviv on Saturday. There were also demonstrations in Beersheba, Haifa and Jerusalem, among others.

Netanyahu’s policy is under fire because, in the eyes of his opponents, it is completely dominated by the prime minister’s extremist and racist coalition partners who do not want to reach a deal with the Palestinians.

It is not known how many living hostages Hamas still has in its hands. The Gaza Strip has been bombed almost continuously since October. More than 250 people were taken hostage on October 7. Some have been released because their nationality had nothing to do with the conflict, and some have been exchanged for Palestinian political prisoners. There are still 120 Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip, but some are believed to be dead. According to the American media, only fifty Israeli hostages remain alive in the Gaza Strip.
