To speed up the process and have peace of mind that nothing was lost in transit, Trisha shipped her iPhone 12 mini and her son’s iPhone 12 to a T-Mobile store by hand, where both phones would later be shipped to the warehouse.

He immediately realized something was wrong when he received an email stating that he needed to get the trade-in value before the term expired. After calling T-Mobile, he was told by customer service that it would take several weeks for the device to arrive and be registered at the warehouse. Afterward, Trisha received an update saying that the phone had arrived and was being processed, providing some relief to T-Mobile customers, but the worst was yet to come.
