Ciudad Juárez.- Former Revenue Collector in Juárez, Laura Marín Franco, is the new director of the City’s System for the Comprehensive Protection of Girls, Boys and Adolescents (Sipinna), City sources confirmed. Marín replaces Luis Hazam Ortiz Enríquez who served in the first term of the 2021-2024 city government. Laura Mónica Marín Franco is the representative of Electoral District VII for Juárez and at the end of her term, in 2018, former governor Javier Corral Jurado appointed her head of the local Revenue Collection office on September 14 of the same year, replacing Sergio Nevarez.

Marín then resigned from the Revenue Collection in March 2021 to run for the local council of the National Action Party (PAN), according to journalistic data. In Pérez Cuéllar’s final campaign, to return to office as Municipal President, Marín and other PAN members joined his project at a public event.
