According to Russia’s state news agency RIA, the Kremlin does not believe that the US government of President Joe Biden was involved in the attack. Russia is said to believe that the attack was provoked “by the atmosphere created around Trump by the current administration.”
Russian state news agency TASS reports that President Vladimir Putin has no plans to call Trump about the attempt on his life.
Trump was shot at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday. He was hit in the right ear. The gunman was killed by security forces.
