Drop everything and head straight to Badshah’s Instagram feed. The rapper has released a short and sweet video with his daughter Jessemy Grace Masih Singh that may make you smile. In the clip, the father-daughter duo can be seen twinning in black outfits. Badshah taught Jessemy his signature line “It’s your boy Badshah” which he often uses in his songs to introduce himself. Changing his sentence slightly, he said, “What’s up, it’s your girl Jessemy.” Badshah’s daughter closely imitates her father. They ended the fun session by saying, “You watch me on YouTube. What happened?” “Bloodlines,” read Badshah’s side note.

Responding to the post, DJ and music producer Sartek wrote, “Girls are the best.” Choreographer Piyush Bhagat called the clip “Very funny”. Roadies star Rannvijay Singha dropped a black heart and prayer emoji.

In September, Badshah spoke about his bond with Jessemy. The rapper claimed that although his daughter thought he was “cool,” he was not a “fan.” Badshah said, “He was at my concert. My dad is cool. He’s very cool. But he’s not a fan. He listens to Blackpink. As a musician, buying other musicians’ merchandise for your own child is a bit painful,” in a podcast with Prakhar Gupta.

Badshah shares Jessemy with his ex-wife Jasmine Still. The couple, who married in 2012, separated in 2020. In the same podcast, the Come on Nacho The singer revealed that despite their best efforts, they could not save their marriage because it had become “unhealthy” for their children. “We both tried everything. We tried our best and gave everything we had. We separated because it wasn’t healthy for our child. “I can see my son but not as often as he lives in London,” he said.

Earlier this month, Badshah wowed his fans by performing at Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati Tour concert at the O2 Arena in London. Sharing the stage with Diljit, Badshah announced his upcoming UK Stadium Tour in 2025. Read more here.
