A cyclist has died after a collision in Nijmegen, on the Nieuwe Ubbergeseweg road (N325) towards the border town of Beek, in Gelderland, according to the police. A motorist was arrested and taken for questioning, a police spokesman said.
An ambulance crew checked on a second cyclist, but he did not have to be taken to hospital. The police immediately launched an investigation. The road is closed in both directions.
