Power outage in Russia after huge explosion due to ‘drone attack targeting warehouse

Robert Novoski

A large explosion was heard in the Russian city of St Petersburg, possibly a Ukrainian drone strike on a weapons depot.

The explosion, which was heard for 30-40 minutes, was recorded on doorbell cameras and by people on the ground.

Emergency crews were seen rushing to the scene, but there was no official comment from Russian or Ukrainian authorities.

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky recently called on Russians to “feel the impact of the conflict” in order to increase domestic pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This comes as Russia looks set to escalate the conflict by deploying as many as 10,000 North Korean troops to the Ukrainian battlefield.

This is breaking news.
