On Monday, Qualcomm finally announced the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, previously known as Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Now, leaked AnTuTu scores of the Realme GT7 Pro prototype are circulating and show a record-breaking result of 3,025,991.

This puts it well ahead of the Apple A18 Pro (which managed around 1.65 million points) as well as MediaTek’s recently launched Dimensity 9400, which managed a score in the 2.8 million range last time we checked.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite is rumored to come in two iterations, a base version with two cores running at speeds up to 4.09 GHz and six at 2.78 GHz, and a premium option with two cores running up to 4.32 GHz. Both versions have an Adreno 830 GPU and are made with TSMC’s 3nm process.

The previous Snapdragon 8 Elite also scored very well on Geekbench, so it looks like a very solid competitor, and it appears to come with a big generational leap in terms of performance compared to its predecessor.
