The event, which took place on the grounds of the Gran Estadio Monumental “Manuel Loco Rentería”, was chaired by Mayor Humberto “Beto” Pérez Mendoza and attended by educational institutions of all levels, as well as city and state civil servants and the health sector.
Before the formation of the pink ribbon began, animation groups from local schools participated in enlivening the commemoration.
