The federal government announced that the new construction company Infonavit will be responsible for building 500,000 homes and the National Housing Commission (Conavi) will be responsible for building another 500,000 homes.
Luis Alberto Moreno Gómez Monroy, national president of Canadevi, said that the Government will invest 600 billion pesos for this purpose, but must complement it with subsidies. “They have identified the problem that housing is not being offered to low-income people, and now we have to see how this goal is achieved, where something important is enabling people to afford 600-unit homes. thousand or 700 thousand pesos.

“If we combine efforts, combine desires, and start working together with all three levels of government, I am sure we can achieve this and the investment will be greater,” he stressed.
