This book is about recipes, yes: there are 100 memorable, reliable, and easy recipes for all of life’s occasions, from dinner and breakfast to side dishes, appetizers, desserts, and cocktails. But it’s more than that: there are tips for planning meals, cooking together, and more—all in a beautiful, glossy hardcover. We designed it as a gift, and what it is for You or someone you love: we hope this becomes an outdated and outdated fixture in kitchens everywhere.

OK, this may sound silly, but have you ever had a book that had to prop it up while cooking? (Our first book was like that). This one remains open when you open the page! Very cool.
✨Good design & print quality topnotch.
If you’re a cookbook fan like us, you know the quality of cookbooks varies greatly. In our (really) objective opinion…we think this is one of the most beautifully printed books we’ve ever seen!
The size is perfect, with a weight that feels enormous. Glossy pages have just the right feel, and photos look better than they do on screen (that’s often not the case on paper!). There are also beautiful metallic accents on the book jacket.
Everything was done so professionally, we kind of can’t believe our publisher thought this book deserved such a VERY beautiful package.
The recipe is easy to remember, reliable and delicious.

🍷We have wine pairings!
Yes, we’ve added tips on some of our favorite recipes with what types of wine they work well with! Alex is our wine expert, and he added notes on some of the wine pairings nicely—keeping it approachable with great flavors.
🌱 Each recipe has a “diet circle” with options.
This book discusses special diets, because nowadays many people eat differently! Each recipe has a circle stating what diet the recipe falls under, and then we’ve listed trade-offs on how to adapt it to other diets. Of those 100 recipes, 78% are vegetarian, 70% are gluten-free, and 50% are vegan.

We love writing recipes that are clean and perfect for a cook. But because this book celebrates togetherness, our publisher wanted to show how two chefs can do it—without changing the recipe itself.
They had the idea to display it graphically with symbols, and the theme of the book was born! You’ll see circles and squares reflected on the cover, book case, and inside in various patterns.

👫There is a “cooking date” chapter!
Most of the recipes in this book are intended for 4 or more servings. But we wanted to have a “Just for Two People” chapter that has a fun cooking experience for just two people: with your partner, family, friends, etc. This 2-serving recipe is a little more sophisticated and luxurious—and ended up being one of our favorite chapters.
