Culiacan, Mexico.- This Tuesday, 150 members of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) arrived in Culiacán, Sinaloa, where crimes and violent executions continue; This morning a man was killed with more than 100 shots from an AK-47.

Based on a consolidation of facts reported by the Sinaloa General Security Secretariat, between yesterday, Monday, October 14, and Tuesday the 15th, at least 15 people were reported killed.

This Tuesday, five bodies with signs of violence were found on the Culiacán-Mazatlán highway at kilometer 122 on the asphalt track, near the town of Laguna de Canachi, in the Baila syndicate, which belongs to Culiacán. On Free Mexico Highway 15 Culiacán-Mazatlán, in San Ignacio, law enforcement officers found the body of a woman who had suffered a gunshot wound. The killings occurred at Bulevar Jesús Kumate and Bulevar de Las Torres, near the Livestock Fair facilities.

When security forces arrived, they found the deceased with a gunshot wound and his hands handcuffed behind his back. He was between 25 and 30 years old, according to initial estimates. On Mexico Highway 15, near the area known as La Báscula, near the town of El Carrizal, belonging to Culiacán, a man was found lying on the side of the road.

A 911 report was also received of a person injured by a blow in the city’s Portalegre VIII subdivision. Authorities arrived and found an injured man who had reportedly been deprived of his liberty along with other family members who, they said, were killed and whose bodies would be placed in the Portalegre V subdivision, near Las Aguas Termales. The group “Rastreadoras Sabuesas Guerreras” found the subject’s body in an advanced state of decomposition on Avenida Aztlán, between Las Torres Bulevar and Privada Punta Azul, in Culiacán, near some seafood. The state Secretariat of Security indicated that signs of armed civilians were found in Campo Capule, such as empty containers, several items of camouflage clothing and used weapon casings were found, with no traces of injured people or confrontation. “It turned out it was just a shot in the air,” he reported.
