Since then, things have gone from bad to worse for Vloerloods. At the end of May, the thirty or so employees were sent home. ‘Without warning or anything. They have not received anything since then, neither salary nor holidays,’ says CNV negotiator Martin van Eerde. The company’s customers have also been affected.

CNV has no contact with Vloerloods. ‘We received no reply to letters or voice messages. In the meantime, time was running out and there was no prospect of employees receiving a salary. ‘Unfortunately, as a union we only have one option: to declare bankruptcy on behalf of our members,’ says Van Eerde.

The bankruptcy has been filed at the Overijssel court.
