Mexican drug lord Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada, one of the founders of Mexico’s notorious Sinaloa cartel, has been arrested in the United States. Also detained was one of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman’s sons, Joaquin Guzman Lopez, also a top cartel leader. Both were arrested in El Paso, Texas, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland said in a statement on Thursday.
