Amsterdam
Suddenly, all the bad news from around the world also hit the stock markets: Monday was the reddest day of the year for the stock market. The AEX index in Amsterdam closed down 2.2 percent to 859 points. On July 12, the index reached an all-time high of 944. The Dow Jones lost more than 1,000 points at the opening. And the Magnificent Seven – the seven Big Tech funds – together lost $1 trillion in value.
