He emphasized that the upcoming DAO and Foundation are designed to exclude “trolls” and “FUD spreaders” who do not hold tokens but may seek to negatively influence the direction of the project.
Why DAO and Shiba Inu Foundation?
The Shib Doggy DAO Foundation aims to legally encapsulate the DAO, ensuring that community decisions are implemented correctly. “The SHIB Doggy DAO Foundation will legally wrap the DAO, ensuring that decisions made by the community are implemented correctly,” explained Lucie. “It will manage assets like Doggy Treasury and prevent future misallocation, providing transparency and security.”
The move is intended to show that Shiba Inu is a “serious player with a long-term vision,” distancing itself from projects that lack sustainable planning and community involvement. The DAO will empower holders of four major tokens—SHIB, BONE, LEASH, and the forthcoming TREAT—to participate in governance decisions.
The governance model will be divided into four distinct areas: SHIB governs the community itself, BONE empowers Shiba Inu technology, LEASH offers protection and exclusivity, and TREAT empowers and funds community projects.
“The DAO is a governance system where the primary token holders—Shib, Bone, Leash, and Treat—have the power to make important decisions,” said Lucie. “This decentralized model ensures that Shib’s future is determined by those who believe in it, not by outside voices or short-term hype.”
Lucie emphasized that only the original token holders will influence the future of the project. “What’s most important is that shareholders are actually the ones making the decisions that determine Shib’s future,” he said. “The trolls, FUD spreaders and naysayers in Telegram groups will have no influence because they don’t hold the keys to the ecosystem.”
He also issued a warning about a fake version of the TREAT token, which has not yet been released. “As I mentioned above, Treat, remember, Treat is not released yet,” Lucie warned. “So, if you host a clone, you will not be able to participate in any DAO or dApps ecosystem with them. As the Shiba Inu ecosystem moves towards this new governance model, Lucie admits that implementation will take time to perfect. “When this governance system is implemented, it will take time to perfect it,” he admitted. “But once fully operational, it will create an immutable and autonomous system, ensuring the Shib ecosystem is built to last.”
The imminent launch is an important milestone for Shiba Inu. “Launch is imminent, and Shib’s future will be completely in the hands of those who matter most: the community. “Now is the time to be part of the revolution,” concluded Lucie. “Shib Doggy DAO Foundation is proof that SHIB is more than just hype—it is a serious movement ready to lead the way into the future.”
