The court has imposed sentences of up to 28 years in prison in the case involving the death of Peter R. de Vries. The highest sentences are for shooter Delano G. and driver Kamil E, with ‘murder agent’ Krystian M. also receiving this sentence. All three had previously been sentenced to life in prison.

Peter R. de Vries was shot in central Amsterdam on July 6, 2021, after a performance at RTL Boulevard. He died nine days later from his injuries. According to the court, the three men had a preconceived plan to kill De Vries and all three played an indispensable role in it. The three of them had enough time and opportunity to think about it, but they didn’t.

However, the Amsterdam court sees no connection between the murder of Peter R. de Vries and his role as a confidant of the key witness in the Marengo trial. The Public Ministry did see evidence of this. The brother and lawyer of Marengo’s key witness, Nabil B., had already been murdered.

More news will follow.
