Israel asks residents of Beirut suburbs to evacuate

Israel has been carrying out large-scale airstrikes against targets of the Lebanese organization for some time. This led to the death of the movement’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, last week. He was reportedly at the time in an underground headquarters that had been heavily bombed.

The Israeli military also appears to be preparing for a ground operation.
