Infinix is expected to launch a cellphone with a 6 mm thick body based on the Hot 50 5G design. Today, a new leak sheds more light on the device.
According to Passionate geekzThe cellphone is called Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ and measures 6.8 mm. It will be limited to LTE connectivity, as it will have a Helio G100 chipset.

It seems that the leak claiming that the Infinix cellphone has a size below 6 mm is misleading. The Hot 50 Pro+ and its 6.8mm profile are still impressive, as we haven’t seen a thinner stick phone on the market in almost half a decade. Interestingly enough, the last time we saw a sub-6mm phone was a Transsion device – the Tecno Camon 11.
The Hot 50 Pro will have an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and Gorilla Glass on top. The phone will have 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and it looks like Infinix is certifying the phone for “5-year Performance TUV Fluency,” whatever that means.
The source claims the phone will launch in the Philippines and India soon, and we’ll bring you full details when that happens.
