After New Year’s Eve, Jue will replace Paulus de Wilt, who will step down after more than ten years at the head of the investment bank. According to the chairman of the supervisory board, Dick Sluimers, Jue has a proven track record in “creating and growing companies in the financial sector.”

NIBC highlights, among other things, the role Jue played in the merger of Postbank and ING in 2009. As CEO of ING Netherlands, he also had to deal with difficult times for the banking sector due to the financial crisis. In 2017, Jue became the CEO of ING’s German operations. There he worked on further digitalisation of the bank.
