A friend was “nauseous” after the tragic deaths of a Chianti Means mother and her two young children in Niagara Falls.
The three are believed to have deliberately jumped to their deaths from a waterfall in New York on Monday.
Onlookers were shocked when they watched Chianti, 33, along with her nine-year-old son Roman Rossman and five-month-old baby Mecca, fall after going through a security barrier.
Taking to Facebook in grief, my friend Mich Molina mourned: “I can’t even bring myself to write a post about him and share memories.
“I’m completely nauseous and I can’t even handle the emotions I’m feeling. Please know that she and her children are very dear to me and my children.”
This heartfelt tribute was among several tributes to Chianti, who was believed to be a domestic violence counselor.
Another friend’s message echoed: “You really never know what someone is going through…”
Originating from a Canadian town named after a famous waterfall, Chianti is said to have crossed the barrier fence on Luna Island, which separates American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. Despite intensive search efforts, neither her body nor her children’s bodies have been found.
Authorities continue to carry out their search operations to this day.
Many comments online expressed deep sadness over the incident, with one person writing: “This case is so sad!! I hope he will talk to someone… My heart and prayers go out to all his family and friends.”
Others added their voices, stating: “Praying more than ever for those who have had to endure such loss.”
